• Graph Theory: emphasis in problems at the border of Linear Algebra and Graphs, in particular eigenvalues and eigenvectors of matrices associated to graphs related to graph invariants.
• Metaheuristic to Combinatorial Optimization problems: emphasis in developing efficient algorithms to solve linear and non-linear problems. In particular, the knapsack problem in its non-linear version.
